She graduated in 1997 from RMIT in Melbourne, Victoria as a chiropractor, and had been practicing right up until the time she was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome.
She has a very keen interest in personal growth and development, and human behaviour. Other interests include photography, music, movies and travelling.
She is committed to maintaining a well-balanced lifestyle – including the application of ancient principles of health, and keeping fit with exercise (walking, swimming, Yoga).
She is a co-founder of Perth Photo-Medical Centre where they use photobiomodulation in the form of low level laser therapy (LLLT). This assists in the promotion of tissue regeneration and rejuvenation at the cellular level, ultimately resulting in healing, decreasing inflammation and relieving pain in various conditions.
It is her hope and desire to promote GBS awareness, and to inspire others with challenges of potential autoimmune issues on the rise that are affecting the health and wellbeing of people in the world we live in today.
Pamela is currently working on her next book, where she will address all of the specific principles and tools including alternative therapies, exercises, foods, etc. that she used on her road to recovery from GBS.
